The house is now occupied. And furnished. You guys wouldn't believe the work I had to do to get what I needed in here. Backbreaking physical labour and just about everything else under the sun.

But.

It's what I want. So I'm happy. And the rent's all paid for for the next six months.

I had a run-in with the owner of the house earlier on. He seems to think that I can be scared into coming up with double what I owe him or he'll throw me out. I casually mentioned the fact that the boss wouldn't appreciate me waking him up at three in the morning to ask him for a couch to crash on.

That said, I'm going to move out soon. I've got enough saved for a deposit and a few month's rent. After that, school should have finished, so I can get a job and stay there. I don't want to stay in this rat pit for a moment longer than I have to :(
